- Dr. Ratan Bhattacharjee who is at present Chairperson and Associate Professor in the Post Graduate Dept. of English of Dum Dum Motijheel College and Guest Faculty in Rabindra Bharati University had earlier taught in the PG departments of English in Vidyasagar and Education Dept of Rabindra Bharati University and and also in Bangabasi Evening College and Gangadharpur College at different periods of time for the last 29 years. He specialized in Francis Scott Fitzgerald and Theodore Dreiser, two major stalwarts of American Literature..
